A Chaos Sparrow Search Algorithm with Logarithmic Spiral and Adaptive Step for Engineering Problems

چکیده

The sparrow search algorithm (SSA) is a newly proposed meta-heuristic optimization based on the foraging principle. Similar to other algorithms, SSA has problems such as slow convergence speed and difficulty in jumping out of local optimum. In order overcome these shortcomings, chaotic logarithmic spiral strategy adaptive step (CLSSA) this paper. Firstly, balance exploration exploitation ability algorithm, mapping introduced adjust main parameters SSA. Secondly, improve diversity population enhance surrounding space, mechanism. Finally, better control process exploration. best map determined by different test functions, CLSSA with applied solve 23 benchmark functions 3 classical engineering problems. simulation results show that iterative map, efficient useful for problems, which than all comparison algorithms.
